Sehr interessante Geschichte. Ich hab es total genießt, ich denke B1 oder B2 Niveau ist erforderlich. Da habe ich auch das Hörbuch gekauft und gehört. Hol beide.

A great way to deepen your language skills. I really like bilingual books. I am studying both English and German. And, I like the fantasy genre. Perfect at my level of learning

Sehr Gut! Slightly predictable once you are half way through, but thoroughly enjoyable. Great refresher for that High School German that you think you've forgotten. I'm on my second pass through this book, and then will be getting the next book shortly.
In an earlier book with this title "Learn German by Reading", I purchased the printed copy and also the spoken (Audible) version so that I could work with them together.
Haven't read all of this book yet, but I did another book like this and it really helped my comprehension of spoken German. One of the things I did was read along in the German part using 's reader and listening to the spoken text with Audible at the same time. Sometimes I'd listen in German and read in English and other times it was vice versa. It does, however, work best if you can let go of other things for a while, such as TV, internet, movie watching, et al. It helps to dedicate at least 30 minutes a day to this endeavor. I imagine this method might also be available in other languages, such as French, Spanish, and Russian, if you're prone to study those as well. But it is good to have a basic grammar and vocabulary foundation in whatever language you're working in.
Also, when you listen to the spoken version, you'll see that the speakers do an excellent job with their diction and voice changing for different characters in the book.
